Tent Tarps For Camping.

Tarps are a great choice for temporary protection. The poly tarp material is naturally waterproof and contains grommets every 18 inches, which makes securing the cover easy. In this video Sean Mulhall, gives detailed instructions on how to use a tarp as a tent while camping. Tarpaulins are made of lightweight material and can be folded to fit in small back pack compartments or even rolled up with a blanket and then packed. Once a desirable location has been chosen, all you need to set up your tarp tent is a couple of trees, some bungee chords and some branches off the ground. The most common size tarp used for this application is the 8 x 10 but an even larger tarp can be used if a larger coverage area is needed for multiple campers. The camouflage tarp is the perfect tent tarp as it blends into the natural environment. Watch this video tutorial titled “Tarp Sleep System”.
